Nicholas Sparks finds that love is the main theme in this novel, “A Walk to Remember.” As romantic love lacks serious commitment, it is more prevalent in the teenage and young adult years. Romantic Love is the result of a series of events in the story in which Landon begins to fall in love with Jamie.
A walk to remember by Nicholas Sparks having good moral value such as: teaching people to live in love and respect each other. Loyalty is the second moral that we can learn from this novel. Through this main character, Landon shows his sacrifice to Jamie.

Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.
The miracle is that he had a chance to fall in love with her. At the end, Jamie does die, and the miracle is that Landon became a better man and also met a woman who opened his opportunities and changed his life. If Landon had never met Jamie, he probably would have failed in school and never gotten a job.
